Anatomía del Horizonte
There is a place where the body stops being body.
It doesn't happen all at once. It happens quietly, before you notice. The skin, its grain, its almost mineral texture, begins to melt into what surrounds it. The shape loses its name.
Where do you end, and where does the world begin?
Anatomía del Horizonte was born from that question. It doesn't try to answer it. It tries to live inside that moment.
Nothing is lost.
It only changes shape.
What was solid dissolves.
What looked empty was full.
Here, breathe.

NEKA
NEKA photographs what exists at the edge between one thing and another. What still has no name. A feeling held just beneath the surface, the exact distance between a face and the world around it, the moment a landscape stops being one.
At eight, a Kodak found at home taught her the world had a frame. She learned that inside it, you could see more than the eye alone ever could, and she hasn't put down a camera since.
She has spent a lifetime learning to see.
She isn't finished yet.
